The art of conversations

Conversations are the unit of every culture. We slow them down and rebuild attention.

Level 1 of the communication track: building clear communication, creating rapport, strengthening connections and leaving a lasting positive impression. Conversations are the smallest unit of any culture — change them and everything downstream changes with them.

We slow the conversation down and take it apart. What makes someone feel genuinely heard? Where does clarity get lost between intention and impact? Participants work on structure (so the point actually arrives), empathy and understanding, active listening, non-violent communication and the basics of body language.

The moves are specific and trainable: pauses, mirroring, naming what you notice, summarising before responding, asking one question more than feels comfortable. We practise each in short rounds with immediate feedback, then apply them to real conversations participants have this week.

This session pairs naturally with Level 2 — crucial conversations — for teams that want the full arc from everyday rapport to the hardest talks.
