Workplace dynamics

Group dynamics, microaggressions and gender bias — made visible before they cost you a teammate.

How individuals and groups interact is shaped by age, role, tenure, culture and social identity. Most of that stays unspoken — until someone quietly disengages, stops contributing in meetings, or hands in their notice with a reason nobody saw coming.

This workshop makes the dynamics visible. We look at how status and informal power actually flow through your team, how microaggressions land on the receiving end, and where gender bias and assumptions about age, experience or role create pitfalls that no one intended.

The second half is rehearsal. Participants practise naming what is happening in the room in real time, responding to a comment that stung without blowing up the relationship, and repairing a moment that went wrong. We also build a team agreement: what we will do differently, and how we will hold each other to it.

Case work comes from your reality — anonymised situations participants recognise. The tone stays honest and non-blaming, which is what makes people willing to say the difficult thing out loud.
