Resilience in practice
Resilience is a muscle — built in small reps, not grand gestures.
Resilience is not endurance and it is not optimism. It is the trained ability to recover — and like any capacity, it is built in small repetitions rather than grand gestures.
The session follows five chapters: a happy life as the foundation, self-care that is specific rather than generic, resilience under real pressure, inner strength and the beliefs that carry it, and a bounce-back toolkit designed for a hard Tuesday rather than a retreat.
We work with participants' own recent setbacks — what happened, what they told themselves, how long the recovery took, and which of those steps can be shortened deliberately. Self-talk reframes are practised out loud, because silent intentions do not survive stress.
Everyone leaves with a written bounce-back protocol, the Resilience workbook (five chapters) for continued work, and one support structure they will set up this month.
